THIS APPLICATION IS ONLY FOR ALUMNI THAT GRADUATED FROM RISD IN 2024.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MONDAY, AUGUST 19 at 11:59PM, NO EXCEPTIONS.
On the application, you will be asked to submit one image, representative of the type of work you will bring to the show. Images should be in jpeg format, between 800 and 1200 pixels on the longest side. Please name your image file using your name (e.g. firstname.lastname.1.jpg).
Recent Grad applications are not juried, but you must meet eligibility requirements:
- Only RISD alumni from full-time undergraduate or graduate degree programs may apply.
- All work must be designed by you, made by hand, and/or outsourced in an ethical way. If any part of the work is produced for you or bought to incorporate into your work, you must describe this process in your statement.
- RISD alumni who are accepted for participation must be in attendance at their booth during the entire duration of the show (through 4 pm) and arrive for set-up no later than 9 am. Assistants/helpers are allowed, but no representative may cover the show in place of the alumni artist.
- Booth shares are only possible with other 2024 graduates or current students. This booth fee can be split with another 2024 graduate, but you must both fill out the application. If sharing a booth, one person must be responsible for payment.
- Acceptance is non-transferable.
- Proper permits and tax payment procedures must be followed in order to participate in future sales.
The fee to participate in this sale is $117.50, which includes fees for the required state and city permits (but does not include taxes owed). If accepted, you will be asked to pay no later than September 6, 2024. If sharing a booth, one person must be responsible for payment.
