I have a love for paper that I can’t quite explain. I think it’s my desire to have people interact with a medium that doesn’t involve a phone. Writing and drawing are a tactile, permanent way to express yourself. I have also loved books since I was a child, and I find learning more of the art of the book continues this love. I’m fascinated by the craftsmanship of antique books and I am learning everything I can about construction and restoration of books, including papermaking and marbling which leads me down more creative rabbit holes.
