My art focuses on creating unique, one of a kind pieces of keepsake wearable accessories. I am inspired by the Broadway shows I work on as well as art deco and art nouveaux design styles. Everything I create focuses on form, unique style and multiple functions. My moxie includes blending tradition with unconventional materials to make every day wearable to spectacular statement pieces. I am positively obsessed with blending classic textile design techniques, jewelry beading and theatrical millinery skills to create items featuring my signature flair. I often combine unconventional materials like film, wax paper and coffee filters with traditional shapes. Furthermore, I elevate designs with hand painting, meticulous dying, gold leafing, refined sculpting and weaving techniques to yield a picture perfect; element of surprise! I sincerely delight in making each item and every stitch carries my love for this art form. I have two life mottos: Free your mind and your head will follow, and wherever life takes you, make it special.
