Debbie Tuch [1996, Jewelry + Metalsmithing]
I have been working with real fruit, candy and snacks in resin as a building point for jewelry design since my first piece at RISD. I preserve and encase the pieces of familiar foods in resin, then sculpt them to become jewelry. My giant collage of the line, is a feast of pleasure that reaches out to all ages and interests. There is something for everyone. I use traditional metal jewelry techniques and precision, to create these playful pieces of happiness.
