I dreamt up FESTOON during the pandemic while brainstorming creative and beautiful ways to raise awareness and funds to protect our ever important Bees! There was a need for greater connectedness with one another and with nature. I was inspired by the whimsical experience of making daisy chain necklaces out of fresh flowers, and wanted to create an elegant, customizable jewelry concept based on this. The pieces prompt conversations about pollinators and the environment and are a symbol of the wearers desire to protect them. The sterling silver and gold daisies, bees, buttercups and butterflies can be linked together in infinite ways. We are all linked together in the circle of life.
