With a background in industrial design and after years of designing for mass production, I’ve shifted toward designing and making unique and custom pieces. Inspired by the tradition of rug hooking in American folk art, I individually hand make each piece with 100% wool yarn on a monks cloth backing. I enjoy developing designs inspired by the things around me and informed by my education in art and design history. The rugs and pillows I produce are explorations of color and geometry, places, memories, favorite things, or ideas a client has in mind. I strive to create objects that are unique, beautiful, and functional and will last for generations.
