Cynthia Director is a textile designer that produces textiles for the body and home. Her work is inspired from India, her home of 10+ years, travel, nature and crafts. All designs originate from her original artworks, meticulously painted, drawn, lino-cut printed and then envisioned into patterns. These designs then journey to the skilled hands of artisan partners in India, where blocks are carved, and designs are block printed onto natural fabrics such as cotton and linen. Her love of color brings a fresh aesthetic to these traditional crafts. Her fall collection includes: cushion covers, throws, and tabletop textiles. Each product is crafted by hand. Cynthia divides her time between New York City and New Delhi, India.
