Spending much of her time on Cape Cod, Pegeen Ryan draws inspiration from the beach and ocean, and uses large sea scallop shells as her canvas. Using a combination of spray painting and hand painting, the shells are transformed to abstractly reflect the light, views and colors of the coast. All shells are locally sourced, and all pieces are hand-crafted and one-of-a kind.
