With a RISD BFA in Painting, Margery had a successful career in the handknitting yarn industry. During years of designing handknits and developing yarns she was also creative director for several major yarn brands.
As Editor in Chief of prominent fashion magazines and publications worldwide she worked to develop and publish fashion centric patterns for the yarn market. Margery chose to design and make one of a kind, knit and crocheted items rather than designing to manufacture. Now in retirement, never making a second of same- she continues to create “one offs”.

Margery is a fine artist – wool yarn is her medium and knitting needles, her tools.
