Elana Carello creates whimsical, artistic & uniquely patterned knitwear in 100% cotton, that makes people smile. Her process begins with her sketch of the sweater, choosing yarn and colors & deciding how to knit the fabric. Elana will then create a life-size layout & decide on type & size of the yarn, often knitting a first swatch or prototype and then instructing how to knit the garments on jacquard machines. Every part of the knitting process is done under Elana’s instruction/supervision in the USA. Elana Carello is happy to have become more inclusive of sizes & genders.
