Natalia Engdahl is a printmaker in her senior year at the Rhode Island School of Design. Working primarily in photo lithography, Natalia’s prints blend stylized figuration and iconographic symbols to create surreal landscapes. Her work aims to explore moments of transparency, obscurity, and oscillation between the body and the space in which it exists. Drawing upon the narrative framework of medieval devotional manuscripts, Natalia’s work invites the viewer to engage with its imagery as a meditative exchange.
