I create expressive animal figures out of clay in my studio in Pawtucket, RI. I form all my stoneware sculptures with my hands, making each a unique and one of a kind piece of art. Working from photos and personal observations of animals I’m able to capture their unique personalities. I fire them in an electric kiln in my studio with custom made glazes. My glazes are sourced from a local ceramic studio. These sculptures originate from my many experiences with friends, family, and my own enjoyment of having pets.
