I am a contemporary realist painter with a focus on animals and nature and light. I am inspired by the relationship between humans and domestic animals, and the emotions that we impose upon them. I work primarily in oils, with some water-based media and drawings. My process is to create an interesting composition, underpainting, and layering of base colors and glazing.
