Hello, I’m Alex Kalil, I make a wide variety of things and it’s never been that easy for me to succinctly summarize my practice. BUT! I can say ~ that for the craft fair I am submitting handmade abstract collage works on paper (they are colorful, beautiful), hand-made stuffed animals, hand-sewn fabric collage (sort of geometric, which I refer to as ‘tapestries’), and brightly painted sculpture made of cardboard + plaster (the ‘coyotes’.)
