Anika Marsh creates original oil paintings as well as produces limited edition prints at her studio in Providence, RI. Anika aims to connect and give art enthusiasts and art collectors the nostalgic feeling of nature and the outdoors in their homes or offices through paintings that depict wildlife, landscapes, and birds. She gives each painting life through a hint of abstraction mixed with a realist approach, to make the painting feel grounded, while also making the paint feel like paint. Anika sources her inspiration from aspects of her daily life, whether it’s from the bunnies from her front yard in Rhode Island to the Japanese gardens of her hometown in Tokyo. Anika’s oil paintings are made using high quality oil paint and linen canvases that are varnished, signed, and custom framed in house. Limited edition prints are printed in house on archival matte paper, signed, numbered and come with a mat and backing board for extra durability and protection. Anika’s artworks can bring an empty space to life, bringing the essence of the outside, inside. In addition, Anika has vended and sold her paintings and prints at the Providence Flea.
