For 20 years, I have been writing and illustrating books for children about compassion and friendship. My books have been a CCBC Best Book of the Year, Bank Street College Book of the Year, Junior Library Guild selections, and have twice been included in the Society of Illustrator’s Original Art Show. In addition to making books, I have taught book making to groups of all ages, and frequently visit schools to speak about my work.
