Becca Chandler [1989, Industrial Design]
I have been creating one of a kind, limited production pieces for the past 19 years. After my son was born, I needed a regenerative outlet for my artistic soul. In a small way, creating jewelry rescued me, and the upside was friends and family received beautiful gifts as I benefitted from the fun and relaxation. As the years passed, I explored new mediums and dove deeper into the magic of Silver Metal Clay as a sculptural material. I graduated Rhode Island School of Design with a double major in Industrial Design and Graphic Design. I have always been intrigued by simple forms and geometry married with texture, pattern, and color. I carefully handcraft all the pieces you find here in my studio with a view of charming Pawtuxet Cove. I have always been a ‘maker’ and I love, most ardently, creating original wearable, works of art.
