Combining my traditional training in Japanese pottery and research in Danish design, I create high fired functional pottery and large scale modern sculpture. I have invented the unique glazes I use through years of research and experimentation. My white bumpy glaze crawls apart naturally like mud drying, while my wood fired work goes in the kiln with no glaze and relies entirely upon the flame for the colors and effects.
