Combining my traditional training in Japanese pottery & research in Danish design, I create high-fired functional pottery & large-scale modern sculpture. I have invented the unique glazes I use through years of research & experimentation. My white bumpy glaze crawls apart naturally like mud drying, while my wood-fired work goes in the kiln with no glaze and relies entirely upon the flame for the colors & effects.
