Brendan Fuller [MFA 2016, Ceramics]
Brendan Fuller is a ceramic artist working in his dilapidated old barn in Toledo, Washington. His wood fired pottery stems from his background in Japanese Tea Ceremony while his sculptural work explores modern reductivism, sometimes on a massive scale. For the last decades he has concentrated on material chemistry and kiln design, developing his own glaze techniques and rare methods of firing. Brendan has recently completed residencies in Japan, New York, and Denmark, and is excited to be back in Seattle working in the sunshine.
