Cathy G. Johnson is a printmaker, book-maker, illustrator and arts educator. Her silkscreen work is handmade by her at the feminist art collective studio Dirt Palace in Providence, and deals with the themes of nature and rebellion. She makes local community prints and teaches art classes throughout New England. Cathy is also an author and illustrator, her published comics include “Jeremiah” (2015), “Gorgeous” (2016) and “The Breakaways” (2019). Her comic “Black Hole Heart” (2020) won an Ignatz Award.
