My jewelry designs are primarily inspired by the forms, patterns and structures in nature however its also inspired by cultural themes and by the properties of the materials I work with. I start with traditional metalsmithing techniques to make a model, usually in sterling silver. The model is cast to create multiples. These pieces are hand-finished (satin finish) and put together to create earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. My jewelry designs are made of precious metals & gems as well as semi-precious & non-precious materials.
