After 30 years of illustrating and designing, I’m finally consistently creating work for myself, rather than just for clients. RISD Craft would be my first show where I’ll get to interact with buyers as they look at my work. That’s not to say that I’m new to shows- I’ve been the Special Guest Coordinator for MICE (The Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo) for 6 years, so I know what it takes to represent well. My work is designed and illustrated by me, and then printed by professional printers. Paper quality is very important to me, as is the presentation to the consumer, and I can’t wait to put my years of observation at MICE (and many, many craft fairs as a consumer) to good use!
