James Arpin is a painter, fiber artist, and creative lighting enthusiast from Southwest Florida. He draws inspiration from the natural world and the complex, organic structures that nature produces in order to craft handmade, freeform crochet lighting vessels. In addition to his crochet lamps, James also offers various different forms of functional fiber art. All works are made with either all-natural biodegradable yarn or thrifted and upcycled second-hand synthetic yarns. Mechanical lighting components, such as bulbs and cables, are manufactured and outsourced to ensure quality and longevity.
