My name is Kasia Hope and I am a Polish textiles artist and designer. At the spring RISD Craft, I would be interested in selling different hand-woven and knit fine arts objects as well as unique clothing items. My fine arts work draws from personal experiences of childhood, family, and memory in a way that draws a viewer both into my world and their own experiences. The clothing I make takes from similar visual languages as my fine arts work, creating a cohesive collection to present at RISD Craft. All pieces would either be hand-woven, hand-knit, or machine knit by me. I would also be dyeing yarns and fabrics with natural materials. I would love to have the opportunity to share my work with the community that helped shape who I am as an artist.
