I am a designer/illustrator who creates playful, warm and slightly off-beat images for cards, books and prints. As a child I loved theater and thought I might become a comedic actor when I grew up but my introverted nature and love of mornings worked against that dream. Instead, I went to RISD and now I envision characters and imagine scenes on paper with a cup of coffee and my dogs as audience. While I continue to add to my cards and prints, I am also currently illustrating the first in a series of self-authored children’s books that center around goofy and loveable characters I call MyPeapuls. My studio is located in my home in coastal RI where I live with my husband, two almost-flown kids, and two dogs (one of whom appreciates my work).
