LT Foss Design is a brand-new company created by two very old dear friends. Partners are Lee Lovett, Illustration 1987, and Lois Theisen, Fashion 1987. In 1983 we climbed the steps of RISD and began our lifelong friendship. We have each admired, supported, and listened to one another through our careers, raising families, and striving to develop our best self. Being women in our 50’s brings with it the idea of “What’s Next?” It is through our conversations regarding design that brought about our nostalgic pairings and lifestyle essentials, where classically tailored meets artsy. Collectively, we have designed a line of Bracelets and Scarves. Each product has been completely designed by us, from beginning to end. For the bracelets, we created die cut leather wrap bracelets, with carved and cast silver slides. Each leather bracelet is engraved with either Take Good Card, Bee Kind, or Grow Strong. The Scarves also share our three phrases, and were designed completely from scratch by us, via drawing, painting in either oil or digitally designed, and finally finding the proper Silk and Modal company for production. We then created a clay scarf bead for each. And just FYI, Lee (painter and photographer) participated in the RISD shows for years, and in fact was in one of the very first ever RISD winter shows, set up outside, in the snow, on a table!!! She later sold jewelry (Fine Impressions) for about 18 years at all of the RISD shows. And this truly is her What’s Next. We hope that you will enjoy our latest creative avenue.
