Peter Diepenbrock [1984, Industrial Design]
Peter Diepenbrock (ID 1984) is a veteran in the realm of independent studio art production including award winning table-top product design, sculpture, and public art. For the RISD sale, Peter will be launching a new collection of sculptural objects to be marketed under The Otiiko Collection label. The artwork will focus on original, hand carved patterns, subsequentially cast in bronze, pewter, and sterling silver, all hand finished in his studio in Jamestown, RI. The collection will include both functional and non-functional designs including smaller products originally marketed by Peter under the TROY label, which garnered the Best Over All Design Award, Accent On Design, at The New York International Gift market when first introduced in 1995. Since that time, Peter has focused primarily on large scale public art installations, which includes over nine public works in Rhode Island alone, including the iconic Clock Man overlooking HWY 95 in Providence. For further imagery, please visit his primary website: www.peterdiepenbrock.com to see the full range, and www.otiiko.com to see the current collection of smaller works. The products shown will evolve substantially between now and the next RISD sale. Peter Diepenbrock
