Jacquard textiles are at the core of Penumbra textile. All fabrics are designed and manufactured in the USA to the highest quality standards with attention to finishing details. The Home textile collection includes Pillows, Table runners and Lamp shades. Tote bags and some featured Apparel pieces round out the collection. Penumbra patterns are Inspired by nature and designed to fit in modern interiors, Penumbra textiles have been featured in Domino and Coastal Home magazines and are specified by Architects and Designers for residential and commercial projects.

Bridget graduated from the RISD Textile program in 1994 and began her career as a technical trainer for Viable, a company that wrote software for the Jacquard industry. Travelling to India, Brazil, and across Europe, Bridget trained weavers that used traditional design board illustrations and punch card methods of production to create design directly on a computer. In addition to creating pattern designs, they worked together to build libraries of weave structures to complete jacquard woven fabrics for upholstery, apparel, and labels. Through the experience of working with generational weavers Bridget learned techniques used for centuries and implemented them into modern high speed jacquard weaving.
