After years of designing for mass production, I’ve shifted toward designing and making unique and custom pieces. Inspired by the tradition of rug hooking in American folk art, I individually hand make each piece with 100% wool yarn on a cotton monks cloth backing. I enjoy developing designs inspired by the things around me and informed by my education in art and design history. The rugs and pillows I produce are explorations of color and geometry, places, memories, favorite things, or ideas a client has in mind. I strive to create objects that are unique, beautiful, functional, and will last for generations.
