We believe that beauty is a process, not only a product, and ours is one based on reciprocity with our ecosystems. Working with natural dyeing, eco-printing techniques, and hand-weaving, Sashoonya crafts silk scarves, wall hangings, and beautiful garments. We dye our textiles and locally sourced yarns with dyes we extract from our organically, homegrown plants and delicately foraged seaweed. Our color sources include indigo, marigold, goldenrod, sumac, food waste, and bladderwrack seaweed. Our textile goods, infused with the colors and the essence of the landscapes we cherish, are talismans and symbols of a world that prospers through care and connectivity.
