Shippee Turning Co aims to create beautiful, long lasting, and stately home goods. We develop all of our products through sculptural iteration and free turning in our Providence woodshop. Our forms borrow heavily from Japanese woodworking, Scandinavian furniture design, Greek pottery, and the Shaker tradition. The company‚ creation reflects a desire to reinvest in old methods of making and marry them with a contemporary design perspective.
