After a professional career as a Textile Designer, I moved to Gloucester Massachusetts and became intrigued with the Japanese traditional method “Gyotaku”. The art of painting and rubbing fish to record the size. For several years, I have been acquiring fish from local fishermen and experimenting with different printing techniques. Throughout this journey, I have documented species which are now regulated. I make original prints, greeting cards, and gifts for the home.
