TACIT is a design studio based in Brooklyn, NY, crafting everyday objects that evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity in users. Its name is derived from the term ‘tacit knowledge,’ which highlights awareness that can be experienced only somatically. The current designs focus on a line of tableware comprising various glass cups, bowls, bottles, and bud vases. The forms and colors of the hand-blown-glass collection are inspired by nature, historical glass, and tradition. Aiming to activate a connection between the hands and the eyes, the objects are made with the body, of the body, and for the body.
