After working two dimensionally and in metal and glass for many years, I was delighted to find the art of needle felting. Needle felting is a time consuming process in which a barbed needle is poked into wool roving many hundreds and thousands of times, sculpting a form as the wool fibers tangle and tighten. I enjoy bringing personality to the sculpture and see the joy it brings the customer when they receive their custom piece or just observing the reaction to my work by people unfamiliar of this art form. Providing felting kits with detailed instructions for beginners, intermediate and advanced customers is a wonderful way to share my passion with others.
